Behind the name

The story is deeply personal. On the 8th of July 2023 my mum, Carrie Ann Byrne, passed away at just 47 years old after her battle with lung cancer. She was the heart of our family and the reason I am who I am today.

The photos below were taken the week before her passing. As a family we took her to the beach one last time as her final request was to go swimming in the sea. This meant everything to her and us. Its some memories we will treasure forever.

When it came to naming the business I wanted something more than just a brand, I wanted a way to honour her memory. Carry On is both a play on her name Carrie Ann and a reminder to keep moving forward with strength, resilience and purpose, just as she would have wanted.

So every time you see Carry On Electrical, know that it’s not just a business name, it’s a tribute to my mum, her legacy and the values she instilled in me.
